Fall Ball  /  Roster & Tournament Rules

The following rules will be in effect for fall ball and winter indoor league tournaments

All teams NSA rosters are frozen in early July. 

Rosters can be unlocked by the NSA WPA & WV State Director only. 

Teams should email the state director with their requests to unlock their rosters.

Teams can then make roster additions for participation in

NSA fall tournaments or indoor winter leagues or tournaments.

Rosters are limited to a maximum of 20 players

Players can not be removed from your roster

even if they are no longer on your team.

Fall roster & tournament rules.

For fall ball you may or may not be able to use your current NSA sanction number and roster.

  Teams must play fall tournaments in the age group they will play at during the 2009 season 

You can use your roster and sanction number for fall ball if you meet the following:

- A least 50% or a minimum of 6 returning  players  [which ever is greater]

- Playing at the same age group for fall as in the preceding spring/summer season

- Will play at the same age group in 2009

- You have room to add your additional players to your 20 player limit

- Team has the same manager/coach

 

You will need to register as a new team for the fall if:

- You have less then 50% of your players returning

- You have less then 6 returning players

- Will be playing at a different age group for the fall & 2009 season

- Not enough open roster spots to add all additional players [20 player maximum]

- Team has a new manager/coach
