NSA Scholarship Tournament / $ 500.00 Scholarship Awarded All players entered in this tournament are eligible to win an NSA $500 scholarship. Scholarship will be awarded by random drawing of all players participating in the tournament. Attention All Coaches The NSA National Office has implemented new tournament Roster & Insurance procedures for 2008 All teams must turn in their signed Official NSA On Line Roster & Insurance Certificate prior to their teams first game Head Coaches will receive an official NSA/WPA tournament GAME PASS Teams will not under any circumstances be permitted to play any game with out presenting the umpires their GAME PASS Absolutely No Exceptions Coaches should click on this link "What to bring to a tournament" for complete information on NSA requirements

Tournament Format: 5 game guarantee with 4 pool games. All teams will be seeded into a single elimination play-off for the Championship.
Time Limit: One hour and 30 minute time limit with no new inning after 1:20. International tie breaker will be used at the time limit or to start the 8th inning which ever occurs first. One inning of tie breaker in bracket play and no limit in single elimination.
World Series Berth Awarded: 1st & 2nd “A” NSA World Series Berths 3rd & 4th Choice “A” or “B” NSA World Series Berths
Awards Team and Individual Awards will be presented to the tournament Champions and Runner’s Up. .
Fields: Indiana Area Field Complexes & IUP Softball Field
Hotels: The area has a large number of hotels at every price range with in 15 minute drive of the fields. Hotel list supplied on the www.nsawpa.com web site.
Entry Fee: Tournament entry fee is $ 450.00 per team. All teams must be NSA registered to participate.

Team Selection Procedure
18u Age group will be expanded to 24 Teams for 2008.
Because of the large number of teams who submit entry forms each year for the IUP Showcase we have will be selecting teams for the 2008 tournament through our Tournament Selection Committee. We want to assemble a highly competitive field of teams for this years tournament. By selecting a competitive field of teams we will be able to attract a larger group of college coaches to enhance each team and players exposure opportunities.
Teams will be selected by our Tournament Selection Committee.
All 18u & 16u teams entries will be reviewed by our tournament selection committee. Teams selected will be notified by the committee of their teams acceptance into the tournament.
Teams are to submit the IUP Showcase Entry Form separately.
