NSA Scholarship Tournament  /    $ 500.00  Scholarship Awarded

  All players entered in this tournament are eligible to win an NSA $500 scholarship. 

Scholarship will be awarded by random drawing of all players participating in the tournament. 

Drawing will be held on Saturday  June 14, 2008 at 6:00 pm at Fairhaven softball field

Attention All Coaches

The NSA National Office has implemented new tournament Roster & Insurance procedures for 2008

All teams must turn in their signed Official NSA On Line Roster & Insurance Certificate prior to their teams first game

Head Coaches will receive an official NSA/WPA tournament GAME PASS

Teams will not under any circumstances be permitted to play any game with out presenting the umpires their GAME PASS

Absolutely No Exceptions

We will pick up the Saturday Pool Games & Schedule

Exactly where they were suspended

at  8:00 am Sunday

and complete the rest of the pool games

with shortened game times

Each pools game time will be set according to how many

games remain to be played.

At the end of the pool game schedule there will be a

Championship Playoff between the

1st place teams from each age group's Pools

Unfortunately the fields used for the 18u age group

are in such poor condition that we are

Canceling the 18u age group

All 18u teams will receive a partial refund

based on the NSA WPA Rain Out Policy

Tournament Entry and Team Acceptance Policy

Tournament Format:                             5 game guarantee with 4 pool games. All teams will be seeded into a single elimination play-off for the Championship.

Time Limit:                                           One hour and 30 minute time limit with no new inning after 1:20. International tie breaker will be used at the time limit or to start the 8^th inning which ever occurs first. One inning of tie breaker in bracket play and no limit in single elimination. 

World Series Berth Awarded:               1^st & 2^nd  “A” NSA World Series Berths

                                                            3^rd & 4^th  Choice “A” or “B”  NSA World Series Berths

Awards                                                Team and Individual Awards will be presented to the tournament Champions and Runner’s Up. 

Fields:                                                  Fairhaven & Sto-Ken-Rox Fileds

Hotels:                                                  The area has a large number of hotels at every price range with in 15 minute drive of the fields.  Hotel list supplied on the  www.nsawpa.com  web site.

Entry Fee:                                             Tournament entry fee is  $ 395.00  per team.  All teams must be NSA registered to participate.
